Salimah Hagmagid

Salimah Hagmagid is grateful to be a part of the Emgage DMV team as an Associate. Born and raised in Virginia, she is a communications professional with a background in creative writing, journalism, and social justice leadership. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors in English and Poetry Writing and a minor in Religious Studies. She’s passionate about the power writing holds in the arena of political change and believes strongly in the Muslim American community’s capacity for influential leadership.
