POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the National Deputy Organizing Director, the Organizing Administrative Assistant is a key team member responsible for supporting backend digital organizing campaigns and managing NGP VAN data across all state chapters. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual who ensures data integrity, optimizes digital organizing processes, and contributes to the overall success of campaign efforts. Additionally, the assistant will serve as a primary point of contact for state chapters, conducting regular check-ins, providing on-call support during election cycles, and assisting in training state chapters on digital organizing tools to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Support backend digital organizing campaigns to ensure effective execution and management.
Manage NGP VAN data across all state chapters, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Maintain data integrity and optimize digital organizing processes to enhance campaign efforts.
Offer dedicated digital support and guidance for all chapters
Conduct regular check-ins with state chapters to address needs and gaps
Provide on-call support during election cycles to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
Assist in training state chapters on digital organizing tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Entry-level role requiring 6-12 months of proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Proficiency in NGP VAN, Scale to Win, and EveryAction.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skilled in stewardship outreach and building strong relationships.
Knowledge of database hygiene and maintenance.
Project management experience.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to work with diverse people and organizations.
Unwavering commitment to social justice and experience with social change organizing.

COMPENSATION
Salary: $32,000 – $36,000 annually.
