Aysha Ahmed named Emgage Development Manager

WASHINGTON, D.C.: Emgage is pleased to announce that Aysha Ahmed has been named Emgage Development Manager. 

“Aysha has filled a variety of roles within Emgage and has contributed enormously to the organization, said Wae’el Alzayat, Emgage CEO. “We are grateful to have her in the new role and know she will excel.” 

Ahmed has worked at Emgage for six years. Previously, she served as Deputy National Organizing Director.

“Following the 2016 elections as a field organizer, I knew that the problem I wanted to solve was to help build a more politically engaged Muslim American community.  I have been so thankful to find and continue to build Emgage as the best vehicle to address this problem,” said Ahmed. “Every door knocked, every meeting held, every event planned, every training hosted, every trip taken, and every lesson learned over these past 6 years has been so worth it all. I am excited to invite others to join the Emgage family and make an impact for our community that we can all be proud of.”
