Wa’el Alzayat, Emgage CEO, to speak at 2023 Parliament of the World’s Religions
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Emgage CEO Wa’el Alzayat will speak at the 2023 Parliament of the World’s Religions, to be held August 14-18, 2023, at McCormick Place Lakeside Center in Chicago.
The Parliament of the World’s Religions features impact makers in faith-based activism, scholarship, and community – worldwide. This year’s Parliament theme is “A Call to Conscience: Defending Freedom & Human Rights.” Alzayat will speak on the role of faith communities in combating rising authoritarianism.
The Parliament of the World’s Religions, modeled after the 1893 event of the same name held in Chicago during the World’s Fair, has been hailed as the world’s premier interfaith gathering since its centenary revival in Chicago in 1993.
