Hira Khan

Hira Khan is the Interim Executive Director of the Emgage Michigan Chapter. Hira has previously served as Director of Governance at New American Leaders, and the Deputy City Clerk of the City of Ferndale prior to that. She has developed programs nationally, and locally to support BIPOC communities across various emerging issues. Having worked in both community and election organizing spaces, Hira is focused on building and upholding an equitable and inclusive democracy. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in International Relations. Hira loves hosting game nights, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
