Jaime Churches

Jaime Churches, Emgage Michigan State Director, is a Downriver, Michigan resident, educator, and public servant who is passionate about building bridges between communities and ensuring every voice has a seat at the table.

After serving as State Representative for Michigan’s 27th District, Jaime continues her commitment to public service in her current role with Emgage, a national civic engagement organization dedicated to empowering American communities through advocacy, education, and participation in democracy.

A former public school teacher and community advocate, Churches brings a perspective rooted in empathy, inclusion, and shared American values. In her role with Emgage, she will work to advance collaboration across lines of political affiliation, faith, culture, and background, guided by the belief that the strength of our democracy lies in unity and understanding.
