Jasmine Khadem

Jasmine Khadem is the Empowering Communities Initiative (ECI) Coordinator and Organizer at Emgage. ECI is a collective of 19 AAPI organizations that offer resources for new Americans and encourage civic engagement.
Prior to Emgage, Jasmine served as a caseworker for unhoused mothers, was the Student Body President at the University of Houston, helped organize successful ballot measures, and contributed to an organization dedicated to empowering progressive women to run for office. A lifelong Houstonian and grassroots organizer, Jasmine is passionate about immigration reform, healthcare access, and housing as a human right.
