Nour Ali

Nour Ali is the Operations and Communications Associate for Emgage. Nour writes press releases and supports the operations and communications team. Nour is excited to apply her communications skills to broaden the influence of Emgage throughout the country.

Prior to Emgage, Nour served as the Director of Safe Spaces for CAIR-MI where she advocated on behalf of Michigan Muslims facing discrimination. While serving in this role, Nour conducted over 20 Know Your Rights training sessions as well as produce bilingual content for CAIR-MI. Nour has worked on various political campaigns in Southeast Michigan in order to elect diverse officials reflective of their respective communities. She is passionate about increasing the level of civic engagement within Muslim communities and believes in the power of representation. Nour holds a BA in Middle Eastern/North African Studies and Spanish from the University of Michigan and an MA in Religious Studies from the University of Chicago Divinity School.
