Zakir Shareef

Zakir is the Outreach Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Area in Florida. Having been born and raised in Tampa Bay, Zakir is committed to making a better future for his “Home”. He has been a political organizer since 2016 working with For Our Future PAC, Amanda Murphy for State Senate 2018, and most recently Emgage since 2020. In his role, Zakir runs Florida’s volunteer texting program, as well as managing Candidate outreach, GOTV, and volunteer recruitment in one of the State’s most diverse regions. Zakir has deep experience organizing diverse coalitions towards common, progressive goals, takes pride in being a “Florida man” and claims to speak 3 languages (English, Urdu, and Spanish)
